Bryan Kohberger demands prison transfer after receiving sickest threat imaginable

The killer has made multiple complaints regarding his fellow inmates in the few weeks he’s been jailed since his conviction

As Bryan Kohberger’s first of four life sentences gets underway, the quadruple killer has made multiple complaints regarding his fellow inmates.

The 30-year-old was convicted of the cold-blooded killing of 21-year-old University of Idaho students Madison Mogen, Kaylee Gonclaves, and their 20-year-old peers Ethan Chapin and Xana Kernodle, who were murdered at their off-campus home in Moscow, Idaho, back in 2022.

The incident took place on November 13 of that year, with the suspect initially pleading not guilty to the murder charges before a plea deal saw him admit to the killings, which has resulted in him avoiding the death penalty.

As part of the agreement, the killer was sentenced to ten years for a burglary charge he faced in relation to breaking into their apartment, as well as four consecutive life sentences for each first-degree murder count.

He has since been holed up at Idaho Maximum Security Institution in Kuna, which is roughly a 20-minute drive from Boise.

It’s here that he claims he has been the subject to sexual harassment and is calling on guards to move him from his isolated cell block to another.

Just one night into his stay in the jail’s J-block – on July 30, he wrote to officials asking to be moved.

“Not engaging in any of the recent flooding/striking as well as being subject to minute-by-minute verbal threats/harassment and on that and other bases [sic] Unit 2 of J-Block is an environment that I wish to transfer from,” Kohberger’s handwritten note, that was seen by People, read.

Then on August 4, he complained to a prison guard that he was subject to sexual harassment from one of his fellow inmates.

“I’ll b**** f*** you,” an inmate is alleged to have said to him.

While another is accused of saying: “The only a** we’ll be eating is Kohberger’s.”

The publication also reported to having received the incident notification filled out by the guard who Kohberger passed the note to – which included the guard’s name who the killer claims witnessed the alleged threats.

Then again, three days later that he ‘recalls vulgar language being used and directed towards Kohberger’, he was unable to confirm which inmate said it and when.

Kohberger is being housed in a single-person cell and is only granted a shower every other day.

It comes just days after the murderer complained to prison staff about being ‘taunted’ by other inmates.

“We are aware of Kohberger’s complaints about what he considers taunting,” the department said in a statement issued to NBC News.

“Incarcerated individuals commonly communicate with each other in prison. Bryan Kohberger is housed alone in a cell, and IDOC security staff maintain a safe and orderly environment for all individuals in our custody.”
